Path Lights
Path lights mark walks, borders and entries without lighting up the whole yard. Space them so pools of light just meet. On most walks that is every 2.5 to 3.5 m (8 to 12 ft), closer on curves and steps. Luna Nova path lights and bollards have die-cast brass heads and take replaceable G4 or MR16 LED lamps. Pick a hat or L-profile head for light cast down onto the walk, or a 360° bollard for even light all around.

Aurora 2401LN-2401Classic conical hat, light all the way around.

Orion's Belt 2404LN-2404Slim L-shaped head, light aimed down.

Path Finder 2417LN-2417Adjustable head you aim along the path. Risers for height.

Telescope 2420BLN-2420BFrosted cover, soft even light. Two heights.

Path light questions
G4 or MR16: which lamp should I use?
G4 lamps suit soft, low-level light along a walk. MR16 lamps give more output and a choice of beam spreads. Both are sold separately and swap in the field.
What transformer do I need?
Add up the lamp wattage on the run and choose a Solaris transformer with room to spare. The multi-tap outputs let you raise the voltage on long runs so the last light matches the first. Read the transformer sizing guide.
